The Stone Roses are my favorite band ever I love them to death and I will literally stand by the fact that they're the best band that's ever come out of Manchester or even England period if it kills me. I've listened to them since I was but a little baby Irina cause my big sister listened to them and now I listen to them every day years and years later. I take a fuck ton of inspiration from their music & something about it seems so deeply personal and warm to me it feels like a hug to listen to them and it brings back such nostalgia that I just love their music even more. Also of course I admire them and their message + fashion + just attitude in general soooo fucking much I really doubt that I would be the person I am today without them. It's really really really difficult to choose a favorite song but for me it would probably be between Song for My Sugar Spun Sister, All Across the Sands, I Am the Resurrection, What the World is Waiting For, or I Wanna Be Adored (fake fan moment)... I don't own much merchandise cause I can't afford most of it but I have a poster hung up in my room and it's my pride & joy. Stone Roses stans in the army
